Baby Boomer Interviewing Success Strategies
Very good webinar. Thank you for addressing some of the reefs we as Baby Boomers need to steer clear of. Your suggestion about offering oneself as a consultant was key.
I thought the webinar was excellent! I can't tell you how much better I feel being reminded that I'm not the only one who has encountered issues with my age. I am currently employed but it looks like not for long. Webinars such as this are definite confidence builders for me.
Very good presentation with useful insights. I really liked the ""relief pitcher"" analogy. I have an interview tomorrow where I hope to use it.
"Real world" advice...it is appreciated and I will use it in my job search.
Thank you! I have been a participant for a few months, as I see my defense contractor position evaporating... today was especially helpful, as I am 45. I hope to employ the valuable tips I've learned in the coming months.
Absolutely wonderful! It was very informative. Very well explained and organized. Thank you for this please keep me informed of the next Webinar.

This is a wonderful outreach tool and very effective for those of us in transition. Thank you.
Excellent - dealt with topics through a common sense approach.
You made some very excellent points, especially the experience traps to stay away from. Good food for thought.
Short, Concise, and to the Point. Very good.
Great Webinar.I learned a lot.Thanks a lot!
Excellent
Thank you for having this. I thought it was just wonderful and informative. I was starting to actually feel discouraged and ""beat up"" with interviews. I started second guessing myself in, what was I doing wrong? I have all this great experience and am constantly told that I have a great resume and personality but nothing would ever happen or I would be told the company went with an employee referral. This Webinar has given me such wonderful yet new ideas and I believe has put me back on track.
As always, these seminars add value. Something as simple as reminding us to avoid some ""experience"" traps is so useful. And using the baseball analogies is helpful - starting pitcher versus relief and being a utility player can help keep it in perspective.
